URGENT CALL

URGENT!

What will be your response, if you see this heading into your chat heads?

Last March 2, there was an urgent call posted to our previous Mission Group Chat. It’s an urgent call for those SFC’s who were available for mission on March 7-8 at Rizal area. I was excited that's why I answered Yes promptly to our mission coordinator. However, In my surprise there a lot of challenges along my way.

But He is God, and He will never fail us, He answered my deepest prayers with urgency as well.

Here are some points of the that one week journey.

* The challenge started on the same day that I said Yes to the call. I was bothered to my schedule because I have my Sunday Am shift, and the scheduled program will start a little bit late. In this sense, I planned two options which was go home after the session or bring my duty uniform and go out early in the morning.

I had just trust to His plans. I believed that He will make a way that is favorable to me. And Praise God I was able to changed my schedule from morning to evening shift.

2.   * 3 days before the mission trip, I was feverish-like. I had a flank pain, difficulty to swallow, and my lymph nodes were shouting!! (sobrang sakit nya). Upon reaching in our house, I checked my temperature and it was within the normal range. But 3 am in the morning (Thursday), I had a high-grade fever. I took anti-pyretic immediately. I sought for a consultation because I saw my tonsils were so inflamed. Antibiotics and antipyretic started, plus continuous TSB because my fever shoot up to almost 40 degrees Celsius. I surrendered to Him my health. I asked my household to include me on their prayer intentions as well.

Praise the lord, on the Friday morning I didn’t need paracetamol anymore. My appetite was getting better and better every meal.

Indeed, God is a healer

* The deliverance of God’s message was my primary concern. I wasn’t able to prepare anything until the night before the mission trip. After our online meeting, I prepared for God’s message. I opened my heart, and eyes to be able to listen to His word. Upon meditating and processing, I finished the presentation. But I didn’t know how I will deliver it until the day itself. I almost cried on the foot of His cross to guide me on the talk. Surrendering to Him was really my sort of strength. And praise God, His holy spirit is within the whole session. Everyone tried there very best to be opened.

Indeed, He is with us.
4.
*Mission is always beyond border. It is not always be grounded and closed on giving talks, facilitator or being an emcee. But mission will always be beyond border. Being with them, and journeying with them is an exceptional. Because of the time constraint that I have, I wasn’t able to finish the whole program.

Since the Lord really knew what my heart desires. He made our session a wonderful and entertaining one. I met familiar faces from YFC days, I met some YFCs from East A, I met and encounter the heart of every participants. There sharing about their desire to serve, to know, and to seek their purpose in life moved me, which made this mission trip a memorable one

In addition, I was able to have a sweet conversation with my co-missionary. After our conversation, we prayed over each other. I think this is the best experience, to lay down you hands to pray over and being prayed over as well.

It is indeed that the Lord answers in different ways and in different manner. Sometimes we asked Him constantly if when He will answer our concerns and desires. Let us be reminded that God is God, and He know when and where will be the perfect time for each and every one of us.
Praise be to God!
