BEING PURSUED
Pursuing consistently is the key to a BIG YES!
Weeks ago, when I decide to take
seriously my discernment in mission work.
I have been pursued for a long time already
but I consistently running out and not dwelling on it.
But the hunting season is as
serious as it is. As I remembered every time, I get into a situation I always want
to escape and have a lot of reasons in mind. I do not want to accept the
invitation after all, though it bothered me a lot. Until there were people who will
pray over you. At this time, the desire intensified.
As I go over and prayed for it,
the direction became clear and loud. There were times that it is hard to accept
the reality and the calling, but it will certainly haunt me over time. Multiple messages and realizations have been crossed
over, but it remains silent and not taking over the risk. I am checking on my plans
and yet He continuously pursuing and hunting me over time.
I have a lot of questions, but those
questions are answered with a beautiful reminder when I go over my journal
years back. His promise was certain, and he continuously answered His promises until
today. From then on, answering His call with a passion Yes intensified.
If it crosses your mind and heart
the plans that are beyond your control, just surrender.
If the decision is made difficult
for you, just surrender.
If the situation becomes tougher,
just surrender.
If it knocks you and bothers you
million times, answer the call and surrender.
The beauty of surrendering is asking
the divine intercession to be in you and being with you.
There is no wrong answer, it
might be a NO or a YES. But an answer that may glorify Him more is the best
answer after all.
PS: Once you have read this,
please pray for those people who chose the religious life and our dear lay
missionaries. The battle is present. The caretaker in the vineyard gets
smaller, let us all pray for them to stay and continue.
