P R A Y

Have you ever had difficulty in praying? Or difficulty to put your words into prayer?

How you handle this difficulty?

The succeeding paragraphs could be beneficial for you or not, but somehow this helps for me. Just keep reading!

I do not know if you will agree with me, but in some point of my life I am on my highs and lows. I do not know if it is based on the mood (but I think it is not). As I continuously processing on it, if the dry season kicks in, there would be another lesson that He wanted me to understand. But of course, while crossing on that moment, I still failed to understand His ways. After the dry season, the rainy season sets in, which help me to go back again to the course, and be in love again. These are seasons of my life: dry and rainy; high and low.

How about you? Do you experienced it?

Dry Season…

Like the weather, dry season is irritating. We can’t even concentrate because of the humidity that brings it. Personally, I easily get irritated, and frustrated because of the unusual and uncomfortable feeling.

On the same way, when I am on the dry season of faith and prayer, I still try and try to pray. One missionary told me before, whenever we experienced the difficulty to pray, just continue to pray. Continue to pray even you didn’t know what to say, and what to pray for. Try and try, until the dry season ends. In my recent experienced, when I am blankly staring at my own personal dimension, I asked someone to pray for me. Asking to pray with me to be able to surpass the season.

Look for a person that would be accountable for you, should I say your personal “buddy”, to help in journeying with you. Having a buddy is essential. They are precious gift, a heaven sent for us, who plays important role to our personal journey. Once you found one, give your full trust because that is how we should treat a precious gift. Their presence is important for the fulfillment of each other’s sake.

Rainy Season…

This season gives a cold breeze which provide comfort and good mood (wag lang po ang typhoon).

In this season of rainy, we are enjoying the moment of calmness and peacefulness of heart. We always feel one with our Creator. Gratefulness is always in our mind. In this season, we ae in love with our prayer time. We always look forward to His message and to the cross. Everything is so magical for us.

As a believer, this season is what we always wanted. But it doesn’t happen to the ways that we wanted to be, because there should have a HARVEST season.  This season of harvest will only happen once we journeyed the cycle of season. Harvest season is the best season that we can ever been imagined because we will be able to appreciate the fruit of labor of our own through His guidance. What does the meaning of fruit of labor? It is the personal realizations, great experience that He can offer, which is more than of what the world can offer. Aside from those, getting to know more of our own self, and also to the profession/ ministry that he wanted to build for us.

Therefore, those seasons are designed because of His personal purpose. Dry, Rainy and Harvest season are essential for our personal journey. If you have a hard time to pray, just keep going and keep going until the rainy season happens, because the harvest time is about to be experienced!

Happy journey! Continue to pray for one another!

Enjoy the Season!
