LOVE CAN CONQUERS ALL
Are you in love? Or do you already experience the concept of
love?
How do you express your love to others?
Do you measure what you have received?
Are you tired of expressing this love because of painful
experiences?
These are some thoughts, and questions that we have in mind.
We questioned ourselves, and our worth. We are too much preoccupied of so many
things to define what is love and if we are worthy to be loved?
Remember that there is someone who expressed a sacrificial
love for us, in which He lay down His life for us. Because we are loved. And He
never tired of expressing His love for us because we are worthy to receive this
kind of love.
GOD’s love
How God Loves Us?
In the book of John, it manifests of how God loved us, through
giving His only begotten Son. His Son became man, and journeyed with us. Along the time that He is with us, He
understands what we feel. He witnessed what we prayed for. And He knows what is
inside of our heart.
God never fails to understand and correct us. He loved us
even we didn’t love him back. He gives us graces even how unworthy we are,
because He believes that we are worthy enough more than of what we think for.
Because God is love, He will always love us in whatever
situation we are. If we feel unrighteous and unlovable remember that there is
someone who loved us so much and can win us back like what He did in the cross.
There is someone who can lay down His life for you, just to forgive and prove
that you are important and precious. Remember that He “came to call not those
who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to
repent” (Luke 5:32).
But How we can to respond to His love?
There are so many acts of Jesus that expresses His love for
us. But in what way can we be able to express our love for Him? To express our
love for Him, the second greatest commandment should be followed. The second
greatest commandment tells us to “Love your neighbor as ourself” (Matthew
22:39). This might be short, but it
entails a big role for our loving response to Him.
As part of our loving response, we need to follow on His
standard about Love. According to the book of Corinthians, it describes what
Love is. The following descriptions are as follows:
1.
Love is patient and kind, it does not envy, not
boast and not proud
2.
Love is not rude and not self-seeking
3.
Love is not easily angered and keeps no record
of wrong
5.
Love protects, trust, hopes, and persevere
And who are those neighbors?
1. A. Family:
a. They are the immediate people, whom the Lord
entrusted us to express our love.
b.
Our home must be a venue to train us to express
unconditional love.
2. B. Others (friends, workmates, brothers and sisters
and etc):
We are called to love our neighbor every day; because every
day God is extending His love to us through different graces. We are called to
love because He loved us first (1 John 4:19). If they fail us, and hurt us, just
continue to love. They might break us, but there is someone who can fill our
broken hearts.
