The call of Mission

I said Yes!
A Yes to the Lord!
It is quite hard, fears, worries and doubts appeared. But He just wanted me to journey with Him. I said my sweet Yes, a day after the ICON 2019. While I was composing my realizations to our chapter leader, I was teary eyed back then. I was teary eyed, why the Lord affirmed me every single moment. He let me experienced the darkness of mission, so that I will be more grateful once the lightness comes out.

I had been struggling in my mission life, and questioning why I should continue this for the past months. The purpose of my mission was left behind for a while. I was like confused why I am still continuing on my journey. But the Lord wanted me to go back to the heart of mission. Be with other missionaries around the world, and celebrating and witnessing God’s faithfulness. And indeed, by the power of the Holy spirit, I saw His loving grace.

During the last day of the conference, I surrendered to Him everything. My heart, mind and soul, and other concerning issues has been lifted up to His name. I replied with my sweet Yes, and tears of joy fell on my face after.

After a month, some errands had been pushed through as part of God’s event. Meeting with my partner, who will be journeying with me for 3 months, was top of the priority. Getting to know him more, is the essential of everything. To be able to understand our own issues and ministries. Doubt in my heart has been raised because of the “partner issue” that I have, but I just surrendered it to Him.

A Yes to Him for this service, is a big Yes of loving the whole community as it is. Loving without measure, and continuously loving till it hurts. Loving the people that will be given to me, and loving the people that might persecute me. May the true essence and meaning of love be maintain on me to the whole duration of CLP.

Lord, I am surrendering to you everything, may my heart be purified like as You. May my mind, be humble as You. And My soul be grateful as You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
