In household, it is a chance to share, encourage and develop one's faith. It is the time to hear and celebrate God's promises to each member. It is a time of rejoicing and praising.

Yesterday, we had a household, with a topic of the Ant and the contact lens. I asked His grace to be with us and intercede into each and every one of us, to be guided. While hearing their personal journey, and realization I was moved by their stories. It is actually a story to be shared, of how the spirit guided them, and how each of us used to be an instrument of the Lord.

The topic is about the ant, the prayer and the contact lens. The main character was a girl, who named Brenda, who climbed a wall with a brave thoughts. But suddenly, her contact lens get lost. She was praying so hard that she may be able to see her contact lens. On the other hand, there was an ant, who saw the contact lens, and carry it so long and hard. The ant questioned why he is carrying it so long, and looking for its purpose. Little did the ant know, the contact lens is an essential thing of Brenda, to be able to see.

Sometimes, we are like ant. An ant that carries a lot of load, which sometimes didn't know the purpose behind it. We are continuously asking about the reason why we are carrying it, and when it will last. But when we tried to open our eyes, and our heart, we will be able to understand and see it clearly.

It is like following Him, in the readings in the bible. If we want to be with Him, denying our oneself, carrying our own crosses, and following Him are the basic rule. The Lord wanted us to know Him more, and identify His good works. We can only identify His goodness, if we open our heart and mind.

Through Him we will know His plans for us.
Through Him we will see the fullness of the Lord.
Through Him we will see His Greatness

Never in the signs, like what the gospel for today.  Build an intimate relationship with the Lord, not on the "signs", but rather on His grace.
