SERVE ON ME, AND I WILL SERVE YOUR MINISTRY
Magserve ka lang ng magserve, ako
ng bahala sayo 😊
I usually hear this message
during conference, which is the usual final message of each conference. It could
be delivered in different angle but with the same meaning.
Do you have any ENCOUNTER OF
THIS?
One of the most memorable moment
for me was during college days, we had a youth camp on that weekend, and I was part
of thesthe team. I had a lot of worries, because of a long test to our major
subject the following week. And because of this event, I had a limited time to take my review.
I just surrendered everything to
Him, hold and behold I got a passing grade plus an exemption for the midterm
examination. I was an owe during that time. Sabi ko n lang, ang galing ni Lord.
The start of being in His mission started after.
There were so many times that He
never let me down. He is always with me all through out. During the time of
recession, layoff was all over. And our family was one of the many families,
who were affected of that global crisis. During those times, I was a youth
leader in one of Christ’s ministry. I was a fresh graduate that time. As I
remembered, I worked for my mother to earn a small amount of money for my
mission.
While waiting for the result of nursing
board exam, I worked in other health allied service as a pharmacy assistant
just to have an ample amount for my mission. Hold and behold, I had my first
work before the regional conference. And what was the implication behind? I was
able to pay for my registration and able to sponsor other leader for that conference.
Serving Him, and letting Him work with my other ministry is my mission’s motto. Until,t time of pandemic. I am a nurse by profession. And this COVID transformed our lives differently even to the workplace where I am connected. The institution converted into a COVID HEALTH FACILITY, and turned us out to become a COVID nurse.
I am living indepently and staying away from home to protect my family. For that strong 7 months, I feel His presence and His protection to my family.
I am the only child of my
parents. They are both in Senior age. Before the start of quarantine, I filled
in their month supplies from grocery to medicines. But the quarantine ECQ extended,
and unfortunately, I didn't have any means to go to them to supply for their
means. But God is so gracious, because He sent people, who can deliver them
supplies. Our titos and titas in the community of East A checked them from time
to time. This act means a lot for me. This is indeed a God’s work. He mobilizes people to deliver His love to His people.
After couple of months, there were
incidence of illnesses that spiked in. Trust and faith are the things that I am
holding on. I prayed that these symptoms direct to other illness and not tag as
a COVID, and praise God it is not COVID. And just 2 weeks ago, my mother experienced
dizziness and she had a high blood pressure. It was a difficult situation if I will
go home and check on her or wait for my father’s next update. While waiting, I prayed
the rosary intimately. I asked God’s guidance for us! And after praying the
rosary I asked my father’s update. And praise God, she was getting better, not
in normal but at least it is dropping. The next day, our unit was assigned as
prayer warrior in our CLP. While praying the rosary, one of my prayer intentions
was about my mother’s condition and to find a new cardio doctor. Then, last 24 she
celebrated her birthday. We celebrated it as simply as it is. We prepared some
just to be able to share with others in our neighbor. During our
chitchats one of the topics that we had was the situation that happened to her
a week ago. I had shared my personal takeaway, and how the Lord moved in the
midst of that time. And hold and behold, as she also shared her personal experience,
I moved by faith how the Lord responded into our prayer time. At 3am of October
17, Saturday, as she did her prayer time. She voiced out to the Lord what she really
feels. She submitted and surrendered to Him everything. And hold and behold, there
was something in her body that she felt good and much better. When she said it
to me, I was surprised of how God unveil His love. And just yesterday Oct 26, we found a new
cardio for her. I prayed for that particular cardio, that He will send us the
same doctor like her previous cardio doctor.
And so, I am still grateful for
His protection to our family. I have a lot of worries in mind, about my
parent’s present health status and so on. But for 7 months, He never failed me
that He will take care of them. That 7 months was full of His love to His
faithful worker. And for that, I reminisced the message from the conferences,
which is serve Me and I will take over your ministry.
It is indeed, God is faithful to His
faithful worker.
“Be my instrument to touch them,
and I will take over your parents.”
Praise be to God!
